DWI Assessments

If you’ve been convicted of DWI, the law requires that you receive a Clinical Substance Abuse Assessment. This assessment will then determine the level of treatment you’ll need for DWI clearance.

Our assessments will lead to the reinstatement of your driver’s license after your license revocation period:

  • DWI assessments $100 plus $10 for the driving record.
  • Out-of-State DWI Clearance $150-250 depending on amount of paperwork involved. We guarantee our services.
  • Substance abuse assessments other than DWI – $75.00
  • DMV evaluations $65.
  • 2-Hour Group $40.

DWI Statistics

  • The proportion of drivers involved in fatal crashes in North Carolina who are known to have been intoxicated is 9.80%
  • The average BAC among fatally injured drinking drivers is .16
  • The relative risk of death for drivers in single-vehicle crashes with a high BAC is 385 times that of a zero-BAC driver.
  • For male drivers, the risk is 707 times that of a sober driver
  • High-BAC drivers tend to be male, aged 19-35 and have a history of DWI convictions and polydrug abuse issues.

DWI Classes

As a result of your DWI assessment you may be required to complete either a short-term or a longer-term treatment program. The Short-term DWI program ranges from 20-39 hours that must be completed in a minimum of 30 days. The Longer-term DWI program starts at 40 hours that must be completed in a minimum of 60 days.
